Premier League campaigners Manchester United are said to have stepped up their interest in an attempt to sign Brazilian striker Malcom who currently plays for Bordeaux.

According to the report by the UK Sun, United gaffer Jose Mourinho has been monitoring the 20-year-old forward since last season, and has sent representatives to watched him.

Recently, Malcom was said to have signed a new deal at Bordeaux which will expire in 2021, but he has also been reported to be considering a move to the Premier League.

This season in the French Ligue 1, the Brazilian youngster has scored five goals and Manchester United will now have to offer Bordeaux an impressive deal for them to lure him to Old Trafford.

And should Bordeaux agree to sell him to Manchester United, then Malcom is expected to challenge Belgian star Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for first team squad.


Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are further admirers of the Sao Paulo-born ace, while Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with him.
